Pantene Pro-V's Miracle Rescue Collection Review

If you’re new here, I have been bleaching my hair on and off for the past 3 years. I’m no stranger to frizz or damaged strands. You hear about how much maintenance it is to care for blonde hair but it never really registers until you skip a deep conditioning sesh and your hair feels like straight hay. It can get so dry that you actually hear crunching sounds.

I’ll be honest: before quarantine my hair routine was quite different. I was deep conditioning a couple times a week and really putting in the time to make sure my hair looked great for frequent trips to NYC, events, and meetings. Looking my best has always been my favorite form of self-care, but I’d be lying if I said I still put in that effort with all the time I spend at home now.

That being said, the change to my routine definitely took a toll on my hair. I experienced more breakage and my hair was dry all the time. Because of this I’ve been making it a point to deep condition at least once a week. I’ve been testing out Pantene Pro-V's Miracle Rescue Collection and it’s been a nice addition to my haircare routine. The Miracle Rescue Conditioning Treatment is so hydrating thanks to pro-vitamin B5, strengthening lipids, and protective antioxidants and is perfect for people who need more than a regular conditioner. As I mentioned, I have been washing my hair less so it’s good to use a product that’ll provide lasting hydration until the next wash day. Sometimes I leave this in for a few minutes as I shower but I’ve also stepped out to leave it in a little longer and add heat/steam. Either way I see a great difference in my hair.

I’ve also mixed in the Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shot with the treatment for extra nourishment. It’s Pantene’s most concentrated Pro-V formula for hair that’s gone through extreme damage from color or heat styling. I focused application towards my ends to help prevent further breakage.

Once I washed it out my hair felt so soft and had a nice shine to it. I used the Miracle Rescue Multitasking 10 in 1 Spray to prep my hair for styling. I applied it to my hair while it was damp for maximum absorption. One thing I wish I did differently was applying less product. Since my curls are fine it's very easy to weigh them down, especially since I’ve always had a heavy hand when applying products. I’d recommend going light on the stylers on days you deep condition if your hair is similar to mine. I’ve also used this spray on day 3/4 curls to give them a light refresh and it's been great for that too. Nothing like a multi-purpose product that repairs, protects, and softens!

All of these products work so well together, and I definitely see myself using these through the rest of the winter season. The products are available online and in store at Walmart. If you want to see these products in action, check out my reel here.
