I am so grateful to be partnering up with River Island for a series of summer looks! Throughout the next few weeks I will be sharing with you how I style some of my favorite pieces from their site.
When I’m going out for brunch with my girls, I try to put together a look that isn’t too restricting (because your girl loves a good breakfast + bottomless mimosas). Despite this, I still want to look put together and on trend. As soon as I tried these pants on, I fell in love! These hug your curves in all the right places. The flare from the knee down is also a nice take on this year’s 70’s revival. I was also pleasantly surprised at how long they are! If you’re a tall girl like me, pants can be really hard to find. If you’re on the shorter side, finish off this look with some sky high heels — it’ll make it more night appropriate as well!
I’ll admit, I wasn’t too sure how this shirt was going to fit when I saw it online. I love wearing looser button downs because I feel that they are more versatile than the tailored ones. As you guys would know via my last post, I love styling oversized shirts like this. If this isn’t your cup of tea, it would also look amazing tucked into some jeans with a lace bodysuit peaking through. The styling options with this top are endless!
What’s your go-to brunch look? Do you choose comfort above all else?
