12 HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS 2020

It’s the holiday season and although things are looking a little different this year, I’ve curated a short gift guide for the people you love, but haven’t shopped for yet! I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always been a last minute shopper. I’m usually scrambling for gifts the week before Christmas (leave me a comment if you can relate). This list has something for everyone: your mom, dad, best friend, boyfriend whoever!

1. A speaker

This is for anyone who doesn’t like to do things around the house in silence. Whether they’re cleaning the house or reading a book, they can blast their favorite playlist. When outside opens back up and it’s not 20 degrees out, they can bring it to the park and have a little picnic moment!

2. Decanter

This is for that person with the carefully curated bar cart. Whether they enjoy wine or bourbon (or both), this is a thoughtful, bougie looking gift without breaking the bank. If you want to go that extra mile, gift them their favorite bottle along with it!

3. Back Massager

Let's be honest, 2020 has been a year. I think at this point, we’re all tense and need some relaxation. I actually bought one for my fiance last Christmas and I love using it. He had a physically demanding job at the time and I have horrible posture so it was very much needed. A gift certificate to their local spa would also make a nice gift.

4. Record Player

Another one for the music lovers! Record players give a completely different sound compared to digital. I love that it also shifts the mood in any space you put it in. Even if it’s just for aesthetics, it’s worth the purchase!

5. Tea Set

For some reason, there are so many people that prefer tea over coffee..This would be a good gift for that type of person. A nice variety set will give them a ton of options to choose from, but you can never go wrong with their favorite tea flavor.

6. Coffee Bean Grinder

I had to include one for the coffee connoisseurs! When you grind your own beans, your coffee comes out fresher and more flavorful. It’ll give that coffee shop experience but at home - where we’re spending most of our time anyway (or should be).

7. Fujifilm Instax Smartphone Printer

This gift is great for someone that takes a lot of photos and/or enjoys scrapbooking. Obviously everything is digital nowadays, but there’s something really special about tangible photos. Kid friendly too!

8. Mug Warmer

Whether they enjoy tea, coffee or both, this is a nice little useful gift! Especially if they’re a sipper, this will keep their beverage hot for hours.

9. Air Fryer

I feel like 2019/20 was the year of Air Fryers. Frying things literally scares me so If you know someone like me, this will change their life. Also a game changer if they don’t like to spend too much time in the kitchen. Throw in a recipe book too if you’d like, to help get them started!

10. Instant Pot

If you know someone that actually enjoys cooking, this can be a nice addition to their kitchen! What makes it so popular is that it cooks 2 to 6 times faster than conventional methods. From mac and cheese to chili, veggies or yogurt; the options are endless.

11. iRobot Vacuum

I’ll be honest, I might just buy myself this for Christmas. If your parents or your s/o have a lot of carpet in their house, this will be their new best friend. It’s one of those gifts that you wouldn’t expect but didn’t know you needed.

12. Headphones

You can never go wrong with a pair of airpods, but if you want to go the extra mile, a pair of over ear, noise cancelling headphones are great. They help tune the world out and when traveling is a thing again they’ll come in very handy.
