First things first, I want your honest opinion: Did I get the squat pose down? I feel like content creators should have disclaimers in their captions when posing like this, it’s a lot harder than it looks! (lol jk I’m just out of shape).
If you like to scour the runways for style inspiration, you’ve probably noticed how some of these designers incorporated metallic hues. Maison Margiela, Balmain, and Chanel to name a few. Now I know what you’re thinking. Accessories aside, metallics can seem quite intimidating. Since I don’t wear jewelry I prefer to utilize pops of colors with shoes or purses. It’s a lot easier to incorporate it into your wardrobe this way. Think of it as a neutral replacement. Silver is a good place to start (or gold if you prefer that against your skin tone – I have a few friends that would never be caught dead in silver or vice versa).
This outfit could’ve been super basic with some black flats or sneakers, but we don’t do that here on janibellrosanne. I always try to appear as though I put a lot of thought or effort into my outfit just because I’m that girl. I can’t wait to actually wear these boots without running the risk of busting my ass on some slush. Spring, I hate you, but where you at?!
How do you plan on introducing some metallics into your wardrobe? Are you more of a silver or gold kinda gal? Let’s get the conversation going!
